Located in the heart of Hampton Park, McDowall Reserve’s playground has been thoughtfully designed to inspire active, creative play. Built as part of our Fortitude Range, this space combines modern play structures with natural textures, blending beautifully into the reserve’s surroundings. The use of Australian-made steel and ethically sourced timber creates a striking and durable playspace that invites kids to explore and enjoy.

Playground Features & Range Used

This Fortitude playground includes a range of high-quality elements designed to challenge and engage children of varying ages and abilities. Key features include a 2100 platform tunnel slide, timber rock wall, wave slide, inclined net bridge, and firepole for thrilling movement play. Imaginative activities are encouraged through elements like the dashboard driving panel, noughts and crosses, and star maze activity panel, while smaller features like the spiral spinner and apple-themed single spring rocker add sensory and balance-based fun.

What It’s Good For

This play space delivers more than just fun, it’s built for development. Children can enhance their physical skills through climbing, sliding, and balancing, while the variety of interactive elements fosters creativity, collaboration, and cognitive growth. Whether tackling the climbing nets or relaxing in the play structure’s shaded spaces, kids are guaranteed hours of safe, enriching play in an Australian-made environment built to last.
