Delivered as part of the City of Casey’s Annual Playground Renewal Program, the upgraded playground at Bridgewater Boulevard Reserve in Berwick South VIC provides a refreshed, family-focused play space designed to meet modern safety, accessibility and play expectations.
Shaped by community feedback, the playground brings together a mix of climbing, swinging, nature play and sensory elements to create a well-rounded local playspace suited to short, frequent visits. The result is a welcoming neighbourhood playground that supports active play, social interaction and everyday use by local families.
The playspace has been designed as a cohesive, all-ages environment where each element works together to deliver a balanced mix of play opportunities. A modified version of our Fortitude Wattlebird Combination Unit, custom Native agility trail and a range of Resilience elements are integrated throughout the layout, creating a space that supports varied abilities and play styles.
The Wattlebird unit provides accessible, imaginative play for younger users, while the Native agility trail introduces more challenging movement-based elements suited to older children. A prominent activity net further enhances the space, offering climbing and upper-body challenges that encourage strength, coordination and confidence-building.
