The City of Casey engaged Activity Playgrounds to renew the ageing, 20-year-old playground at Buckeye Reserve in Hallam, which the local community had outgrown.
Community consultation highlighted the importance of:
Open play that allows children to move freely and choose their own play paths
A timber and steel aesthetic that fits the surrounding reserve
Plenty of swinging and sliding opportunities
Play value for a wide range of ages, from younger children through to older, more confident climbers
The result is a modern, welcoming community play space that responds directly to those priorities.
