Set within a leafy school environment, this playground at St Mary’s Primary School combines the strength and longevity of the Fortitude range with the natural appeal of a Native climber, creating a well-balanced play space for younger and primary-aged students.

Design and layout

The layout was designed to suit a natural setting while supporting all-round active play. A central Fortitude combination unit anchors the space, offering multiple access points and varied heights, while the Native climber extends play opportunities and encourages exploration through movement. The overall design promotes flow between elements and allows for both independent and group play.

Play elements

This playground supports an all-round active play experience, with a strong focus on climbing, coordination, and confidence-building. A mix of slides, climbing panels, rope elements, and nature-inspired structures encourages children to move, explore, and challenge themselves at their own pace.
